In 1783, Nathan Miller purchased the farm from the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations. Mr. Miller was from Warren and in a short time sold Mount Hope Farm to William Bradford, Deputy Governor of Rhode Island. The state sold the farm to discharge the balance of pay due to officers and soldiers of the Continental Battalions.

The room with adjoining dressing room and full bath is a very relaxing setting. The room is air-conditioned.
